Misunderstood

Aa Harvey

Misunderstood.

You know I've got nothing to say,

But still you're reading this anyway.

You think you might miss out on something;

Well peace be unto you and have a nice day.

I need to show love; I still have stars inside my mind.

Who knows? Maybe she will like what I write.

I will try to be precise and never say exactly what I mean to say.

Love is everything to me, so be on your way

And have a good life, if you are bringing hatred to my door,

Because I don’t have enough empathy left to waste on someone like you.

Call me what you want and think you know the score.

Do what you want to do and I'll do what I can do.

I am for real, morning and night.

I like what I write and what I am doing.

I am obsessed with a love I can never have in my sights.

Say what you want about my words;

I will continue to write and I will not be suing.

People have opinions and your thoughts are right.

Even if you don’t like my poetry, you still have my love.

I love what I do and these are my thoughts that I write;

So judge me, hate me, or love me.

Say what you like…but never be misunderstood.
