Tune: Cruger
('Hail to the Lord's Anointed')
Psalm 86 v.1-7 & v.15-17
*********
Bow down your ear, Lord, hear me
For I poor, needy see
Preserve my soul for I sure
By you made holy, pure
O God come soon to save me
You ever my God be
Be merciful to me, for
I Lord my prayers outpour
I call upon you daily
My soul, make it glad be
To rejoice in you, for to
You I lift it anew
For you, Lord, are good, ready
To forgive free you be
Plenteous in mercy to
All they who call on you
Give ear, Lord, unto my prayer
I trust you still are there
Attend to my voice, and hear
I here to you draw near
In th day of my trouble
I will unto you call
For you will hear, will answer
Will not for e'er defer
You, O Lord, are a God who
Full of compassion true
Does come to our help, and you
Are gracious, patient too
With longsuffering your bear
Us, mercy and truth share
O turn to me, have mercy
A sign for good show me

AMEN to that Orchi.
Thanks AP.
Love it. I must say I also love when you put in a melody as it seems to make it a better read for me, too.
Thanks Aw. It's so folk can sing them, and drown out my singing (ghastly, so I say! heehee). Sundry comments appear about my singing on this site!
A fine write my friend.
Thanks Fay.
Good one Orchi
