BECAUSE THE COVID 19 VIRUS - Can travel & survive Six Feet when people cough or sneeze and can also be spread by touch - It was a logical step (backed up by Science) for the UK Government to introduce SOCIAL DISTANCING Legislation ! It requires People (not living in the same household) to stay at least Six Feet apart - OK. On SUNDAY our Parents & some of our Siblngs are coming for an al-fresco Fathers Day Lunch - Roast Beef & lots of Rioja Tinta ! Separate Tables for SD !

A normal person wants to Hug & Greet - A
L ONG lost Friend that you meet in the Street !
D ONT touch - Unclean ! Unclean ! they cry ! So
I must - on the other side - pass by !
S TRICT rule - because of distancing Six Feet
T HIS rules out *Mistletoe & Dancing in the Street !*
A paradox indeed we must trade to survive - BUT
N O more crowded Shops -Ingang ~ Ausgang - just to stay alive !
C OVID 19 - has shocked us to the core - For
E VERYONE involved *Life wont be the same no more !*

This global Pandemic affects the whole of MANKIND irrespective of Class - Country - Culture or Creed. One outcome could be a Unity of purpose - love & togetherness - Locally - Nationally - Globally. Working together to ensure that the elements of Prevention & Cure are equally available to everyone irrespective of cost ! There is some evidence of this - A pooling of resources & remedies - AMEN !

If SD was in place last Christmas I would not have been terrified of meeting the Manageress under the mistletoe - a fate worse than my singing. It's far TMI (Too Much Info) to give more details! lol.
HI UNCLE STEVE ~ Brian here ! At Chriatmas I always avoid low flying ~ Female Lecturers - Technicians & Admin Staff ~ there is CCTV everywhere in the COLLEGE ! SD has it advantages !

Greetings Ron - Thanks for your comment ! SD is in effect very Unchristian & Anti Social - BUT *Noblesse Oblige* and the infection rate has dropped because of it. Also the NHS has been ablle to cope in the UK ~ AMEN This too shall pass !

In the UK we all know President TRUMP is an Intelligent & Experienced Buinessman & Entrepreneur. In the USA there are 333,550,000 people and the same number of GUNS ! Some dont have a GUN and some have an ARSENAL. Trump is very pro-gun as are millions of Americans *My Neighbour has a PIECE so I want one !* Trump is a CAPITALIST and for many Americans *The Dollar Rules OK*. Trump wants to maintain the Status Quo. Race is also a Factor there are 17% Hispanics (over 10% Mexicans) and 12.5% Afro-Americans there are small % of Native Americans. Trump seems less tolerant of these minorities (than the Democrats) and this causes problems in the USA. Hillary won the popular VOTE but lost too many States in the Electoral College. For many (4 years ago) she was too Washington - too much Baggage and she was married to Bill ! So STATEWISE - TRUMP WON ! Despite his High IQ he lacked Political Expertise & Diplomacy and this shows. Joe Biden (74) is fighting for *The Soul of the Nation* but whether (despite being VP for OBAMA) he has enough Support to topple TRUMP (despite his weaknesses) remains to be seen. I dont wish to enter into Political Debate - but you mentioned TRUMP ! If I was an American I would vote for JOE despite age etc rather than DONALD !
