With My Thoughts

Ternic73

I sit here alone with my thoughts

Thinking of so many battles that I fought

I'm on the outside looking in

Trying to so hard to fit in

I don't even know where to begin

I hide my sadness and push on

They didn't win, Im not gone

For once I would like to find my happy place

Can't remember the last smile I had on my face

I sit here alone with my thoughts

Thinking of so many battles fought

Just want to feel like I belong

I just want to be happy, am I wrong?

I sit here alone with my thoughts

      They will never win ternic
Your happy place is closer than you think
      Ready when you are
      Keep writing out those thoughts
Such a sad write from someone who has helped so many
      We can't forget ourselves
      Be good to you
      Even just for the day
      Keep writing my friend

Yes, best wishes. Sometimes I DON'T write about some things - it may seem to add to the gloom, depression, etc. I may think 'OMG not that theme again'. Moderated to OMD - Oh My Days!
But other times, yes, it can be good and therapeutic to write things out.
