Be to me eternity's song
and not as lust's transient notes.
Be as the forever of strong
affection and not just for moments.
Be like faith without limit
and not as doubt's breakable bond.
Be to me true as infinity
for heaven applauds trustful resolve.
Be alive to ageless passion
and not just in first blush of youth.
Be to me need ever lasting
for such keeps alight love's real beauty.

Only from the mind of a woman could such beauty come. Nice Love song/poem. Taking the long haul approach of Love, instead of moments of fiery passion us men tend to bring? Concentrating on the visual we do, instead of the beauty within of the person, type thing.
Such wishes expressed in words on screen or paper are desires of the heart which i fear come from a heart who has been cheated by their temporary nearness. Whilst the years ripen us they do not change such desire but we learn that perfection, though temporary, once tasted, is needy of more.
