Just For Me.

Goldfinch60

That love between us was so strong,

Each day it became stronger,

A love that would go on forever.

Then came the day,

That dreadful day when she passed,

Passed into a new world.

A world where we would meet

And go on together for eternity.

That day will come,

But not yet.

So as I live my life alone

I am learning,

Learning not to live without her,

But learning to live with the love,

The love that she left behind,

That love she has left for me,

Just for me.

    A poignant write Gold.
Half the year gone, meaning six months since C......... and six months before next C.......
I dare not mention the C word yet. We'll get the C catalogues soon through our door. Clue: 9 letters in it. Or 4 letters, starting with X..... lol.

Only her physical self has journeyed away from you, for she is very much alive and well in your memories.

                • Goldfinch60

So very true Suresh, she is still with me.
