and now our time
has run,
something lost,
undone
no forgives,
or forgets,
no hatred
and yet.
what we do here,
like
we used to be,
but
in a different way,
doesn't work today.

there is always more than one way of skinning a cat.. unless you happen to be vegan.... Nice one DA 🙂
parting is such sweet sorrow
has never been so painlessly and poetically expressed
Your pen so aptly describes the depth of sorrow when time defeats our efforts to mend something in love that is "lost and undone"
What might have once worked, must now lay in restful sleep where memories inspire forever smiles.
Great write da.
Those memories of when all was well are still there and always will be.
