Finis

Roselyn

the breath we breathe is fleeting

as time ticks closer to the end

we drift

drift into the violent winds with no direction

no sight

blind to the storm ahead of us

until we are lost at sea

and the crippling waves overpower us

sinking into the deep

leaving us searching, with no one in sight

needing more

and one day we will drown into this earth

and the breath we once breathed will be silent

silent but free

    Very interesting reflection piece.
The storms seem like they’ll never end but ultimately peace comes regardless.

yes, exactly! sometimes it is through silence one can find the most tranquility!

That peace will come to us all in time but not yet.
We can always find silence within ourselves and still breathe.
