Vacation in your head.
Lie wide awake in your bed.
Ignore the increase of your heartbeat when thinking of all the uncertainty in this world.
Try to tame the wind and debris in your head that’s swirled.
Tell yourself this will all pass just stay in your prison walls.
Love the family you’re stuck with and cherish your friends calls.
Will I get to reach my future that I want?
As if I didn’t have enough obstacles already.
Thank you Convid 19 for increasing my anxiety.
They weren’t lying when they said life will get harder as you grow.
But they didn’t tell us we will die if our immune systems are a little low.
They told us we would have to work for everything we need.
But they didn’t tell us we would have to stand in line for five hours to grab necessities.
I’ll listen to my government that probably caused all of this and sit tight.
And wait until looking on a digital screen is my only right.

The time will come when the disease will dispel and you will then have so much time to enjoy your new life that will be there for you.
Life will be there for you, just take care now.
