- Comment from author about the poem: I was in conversation with a friend a couple of days ago, we often have serious conversations about life and at the end he said that he believes that I am a stoic, that threw me I have been called many things but never that, so I wrote this for him.

Yes it started with the Greeks but has moved everywhere now and according to my friend has descended on me!
