My Dad is My Hero

PoeticBiscuit

My dad is my hero,

Though he never fought in any wars,

He battled to keep food in my belly,

And clothes within my drawers.

My dad is my hero,

For the little things he’s done,

He was always there through it all,

The good, the bad, the sad, the fun.

My dad is my hero,

Cause he was always by my side,

He was there when I was happy,

And comforted me when I would cry.

My dad is my super hero,

Though he never wore a cape,

I always had a bed to sleep in,

And he made sure that I ate.

You are a lucky man to have such a fine example of fatherhood shown. A fine tribute to your father.
