She shall not be shaken, but see
Firm shall remain, God help shall give
To her early, so she shall live
Psalm 47 v.7-8
Sing praises to God and rejoice
Sing with understanding and voice
Your praise and t hanks ot Him, he reigns
Over nations, justice ordains

It found in Jerusalem, we
Express its beauty, of it sing
For there He resides, the great King

His reign ne'er fails from shore to shore
He will be our guide unto death
Until we draw our final breath

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.8.8.8. metre. I have to look at Psalm titles, for 'pick-and-choose' verses, such as in this poem. As the Psalms are the Jewish Hymn-book for the Temple, themes seem to be grouped together, as in usual hymn-books.

Thanks Gold. You got your harp or lyre to join in?!
I tend to blow my own trumpet.
