Ripples

PoeticBiscuit

We are all just beautiful ripples,

Waiting in the great big ocean,

One ripple pushes another,

And so on and so on,

Just as one would inspire another,

Giving a nudge or a shove,

If you get enough ripples,

You’ll surely have a wave,

That’s exactly how movements are made.

So let me be my ripple,

Let me feed off of yours,

Or you off of mine,

Until we have a wave of our own.
