Hear my prayer, O God, attend me

From ends of earth I do call, see

To you, when overwhelmed my heart

Be, for you my rock, my best part

 

For you have been shelter for me

Strong tower from the enemy

I will abide in your tent e'er

Under your wings cover trust there

 

My soul, wait upon God only

My rock, salvation, sure He be

My hope, my defence, so I shall

Not be moved, shaken, but fare well

 

Trust in Him at all times, and do

Pour out your hears before Him too

You people, for He a refuge be

For us, we shall dwell securely

 

O God, you are my God, and I

Will seek you early, know you nigh

My soul thirsts for you, and flesh longs

As in dry land, praise still and songs

 

To see your power and glory

As I have seen in sanctuary

This my desire, you loving-kind

From my lips worthy worship find
