When the nightmare that follows each delicate dream
Hit the veiled wall of whispers suppressing a scream
It all costs so much more than you'll ever redeem
Shadowing what was once known as life
When you can't seem to fit in your very own skin
Every virtue you hold dear presents as a sin
Missing heartbeats replaced by a head on full spin
Stumbling through an excuse for a life
Dipped in trusts burning acid a granted request
No more love comes this way nothings left to invest
Thin air acts as the canvas that captures your best
Cataloguing each struggle through life
You could come good
Then we would soar
Above all that we want and more
You could come good
Then we would fly
The twinkle straight back to your eye
You could come good
Then we would breach
All we are told is out of reach
You could come good
Then we would fight
The constant darkness of each night
You could come good
Then we would feel
Like we had both found something real
You could come good
Then we would dance
The first steps of a new romance
You could come good
Then we would view
How good you came to make me too

That good in others can make us good to so that we can then share it even more.
