Providence Praise

Tune: Woodlands

('Tell out my soul')

Psalm 145 v.13-21

*************

Your kingdom, Lord, it is everlasting

Let songs arise and Him your worship bring

His dominion it endures e'en for e'er

Let earth agree, and it with heaven share

Through all generations you are the LORD

Sustaining all through your creative word

You uphold all that fall, and those bowed down

You do lift up, and remove downcast frown

The eyes of all wait upon you here, see

They look expectantly, their focus be

On you, for you food daily to all give

In due season, and so through you we live

You open your hand, and do satisfy

The desire of each living thing, they cry

Unto you, you do hear and answer prayer

We are assured you are God always there

You, LORD, are righteous, good, in all your ways

We look to you, trust you through all our days

And holy are you in your works, gracious

Grace that reaches in measure e'en to us

You, LORD, are night unto all them that  call

upon you in truth, you do hear them all

You will fulfil the desire of them who

Fear you, and will come to save them anew

You preserve all that love you, but wicked

You will destroy, their evil not be hid

My mouth shall speak your praises, worship share

And let all flesh bless your holy name e'er

If i translate your praise here to praise of the god i describe in my post today then your words today are indeed fine words. (If you feel that my post today lacks the presence of a higher power then I have to admit that that is a fault of my writing because i do feel within that such a power exists).

Thanks dusk. It's 'religion', isn't it, and what man has made of it, to suit their own ends, that's the problem? Jesus has some of His strongest words for 'religious hypocrites', and he's not meek and mild about it either.
