Come Home

Tayama

I miss you so very much…

I miss the way you would stare at me when you cried…

I miss you in black t-shirts and jeans, when you just had to feel like a boy…

I miss cold winter nights in NYC when we tasted the snow as it fell…

I miss you at 4am when the club closed, and we’d kiss under the marquee as the light dimmed…

I miss that Mexican restaurant you just had to eat at on Tuesdays…

I miss your face buried in my neck as you breathed my cologne…

I miss our first drink of the night, as you cringed at my cheesy toasts…

I miss being your singing Satellite…

I miss your black hair falling in your face as you asked, “Are you mine?”

I miss you a little drunk when you’d asked, “Love me?”

I see your in Houston…Why?

I do, have and will forever more…Love you.

Just come home...I miss you so very much...
