Truly, truly, Jesus He did say
They that believe on me today
Have everlasting life, it is so
God in three Persons they do know
I am that bread of life to sustain
Ancestors they too food did gain
They ate manna in the wilderness
Daily supply they did confess
But they are dead, yet I the bread be
The living bread from heaven, see
if any eat of this bread they shall
Live for ever, and shall fare well
The bread that Jesus woudl give, it be
His flesh, we eat symbolically
His life given for life of the world
The plan of salvation unfurled
