Seeing that we do have a great high priest
Who does attend to greatest as to least
He has passed into the heavens, Jesus
The Son of God, He the high priest for us
So let us hold our profession of faith
For true is each word that He sure does saith
We have not a high priest which cannot be
Touched with our condition, He each does see
He is able to sympathise and feel
Our infirmities, works for our good weal
Was in all points tempted as humans be
Yet was without sin, and helps you and me
Let us therefore come boldly to His throne
Of grace, where He does reign, and He alone
There to obtain mercy and His grace find
In our time of need, stay to Him aligned
