If Only.

Fay Slimm.

If Only

If only my wordlets could capture

each droplet of rapture

as alchemy bottled in moments

of changling awe

soaks any invasive festering

of unaware mentals

silence would drip with explosion.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ ~

Shards of music could then open

on crystal air and proud

bird would dose joy into cloudy

dawn invoking my ink

to join in the chorus of singing.

Oh but your words do all this upon entering my head. I asssure you birds sing a new harmony as your thoughts morph from words to complete mental pictures bringing forth an explosion of electrons in my brain.

No headaches were involved in the writing of this comment.

You honour and spoil me and I am so grateful as it spurs on my efforts at all sorts of poetry - - glad your head was free after all that mental explosion D.A.

And thus you did. The music of Nature is compelling and poets thrive on its beauty. Your well placed words sing a song to the bird lovers of the world. Great poem - Phil A.

Yes the music of nature casts its wonderful spell with the many bird-songs world-wide as you say Phil - - I always appreciate your visit and comments.
