The Greatest Love Of All

Morgen Joy

THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL

If you never win a Grammy

And never walk Egyptian sands

Have someone that loves you

Or a diamond on your hand

If your words are forgotten

And your smile is never seen

If everything you’ve worked for

Is nothing but a dream

If one day you lose it all

And everything you have

Is just a wish in your heart

And a pen in your hand

I hope you look up at the stars

And see them wish upon you

Because you’re the only one

Who can see yourself through

And then it wouldn’t matter

What there is to gain

Because with every loss

You’d remain the same

The greatest love of all will always see you through

No more searching for the world—

It’s all inside of you

That love certainly is within you but should be shown to others so that love abounds in the world.

There comes a time when you realise there is a light of love within you if you are perceptive enough to recognise it. It is the light of the universe for we are apart of this whole wonderful creation. The light of realisation, the light of love.
