Watchful Waiting

Tune: Song 22

('Love of the Father, love of God the Son')

Psalm 130

*********

Out of the depths have I cried to you, LORD

LORD, hear my voice, attend unto my owrds

My supplications, requests, i now make

Hear me, help me, for your good mercies sake

If you, O LORD, should mark sins, who shall stand?

There be not one, no, not from any land

But there is forgiveness with you, that you

May be feared, reverenced, with awe anew

I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait here

In His word I hope, trust He shall appear

And come to my aid, my soul does wait more

Then night-watchers who wait for morning sure

Let Israel hope in the LORD, with Him there

Is mercy, loving-kindness He does share

And with Him is plenteous redemption

He shall redeem us from our sins, each one
