Beaten
As clueless
As his fingers were
..
And more
Calloused than his thumb
..
She proved herself
to be indeed,
..
as cheap as a
penny whistle was
..
Yet she beat him
Like a drum ..

Good write Neville. Yep, I met her - she checked out my, erm, thumb, among other things too swoony to tell! Woof! Fido won't let me tell. lol.
My word.. go tell Fido to wash his mouth out ... and you.. yes you Steven, I have absolutely no idea what you are on today Orchidee sir .. this is about my old guitar and mandolin teacher .. but thanks anyway 🙂
Oops, it's me that should stop! Fido barks to warn me, as my 'watchdog'
But I needed some fun, being married to KP, you see. Not that I ever see here 95% of the time. When I do, it's like an old trout, with her Botox, or she's been on telly or in the papers AGAIN!
...................... No problem... would that be KP Nutz by the way?
N 🙂
Probably Nutz Yes. Oh dear, KP has broken both her ankles. I won't be so harsh as to says she did it for a publicity stunt. That would be madness for anyone to do that
This maybe a game of who wins at shove-halfpenny but I have known relationships like the one here so aptly outlined - -- ah - just noticed a comment and discovered the subject of your engaging post - good on 'er your ol' music teacher - - I had one whose ouchy love-taps I will never forget..........x
dont tell Orchidee, but I am self taught... ta n muchly my dear Lady x
Wow - you have a gift then dear friend - - my brother was self taught and could play the piano far better than me who had a very strict teacher.......... x
May that drumming be in time to the penny whistle Neville.
Andy
you can beat an egg, but ya can't beat a penny whistle, can ya ... and if ya can't beat it, ya better off blowin it.............. Cheers Andy
Neville
Once there was a woman, cheap as a penny whistle, men played her like a guitar.
No calloused fingers or thumbs here. Pretty much tone deaf, always have been. Yet, my children all play instruments, sax, clarinet. oboe. Did you finally master the art? Seems that a musical ear and poets don't mix.Did any ever play? Like the way you presented this one, like strings on a guitar. - Phil A.
thanks Phil .. I play guitar, electric bass & mandolin... all very badly I might add .. it seems several visitors have picked up on my response to Orchidee ..
in truth, this particular scribble has nowt to do with musical instruction or teaching whatsoever 🙂
