Your dream,
Is so rad!
“Your aim,” they say,
“Is too bad.”
They say what they want,
But their dream, it’s a haunt
Down you lay under the stars,
Dreaming about being on mars.
But your dream,
It may not seem
Like much, to those who say what they want,
But their dream it’s a haunt.
Stalking, haunting, scaring you
Do not listen to those who,
Who do not wish to dream with you.
A dream that only you can be
The dream that only you can see
Your dream
Is strong.
So don’t stop
Till you belong

Very true! After every passing year we tend to change our goal, our dream. Glad you enjoyed it
While you refer to a dream that only you can see, you have come as close as possible to sharing it, at least the beauty and promise and feeling of it... while our dreams may be haunting in the sense that they linger in our imaginations, often in a good way, referring to the controlling outsiders' ominous, unwelcome vision for you as a "haunt" is chilling. I hope you feel accepted here and free to express your dreams. No one here will haunt you, and maybe you'll feel a little like you belong.

This site seems to be a sweet spot between anonymity and over-familiarity. I drop by to see what everyday folks brave enough to share their poems and comments have to say. It's a welcome change from everyday worries and duties. What people share here seems to be important to them, whether its whimsical or passionate, lyrical or confessional, devout, satirical, or erotic. That is brave and interesting. You fit right in.
Dreams can be so powerful and some of them can become reality.

Thanks for your first Poem it is elegantly penned on a interesting topic - DREAMS - something we can all relate to !
We all dream together but if our dreams differ ~ there can be NO Consumation ! ANGELA (my wife) & I both dreamed - but when we first met (4 years ago) I was the (type of) Person She had been dreaming about - and She was the (type of) Person I was dreaming about ~ AMEN ! Angela was 28 & I was 33 and we were both SINGLE and had never been married. We were married in MARCH this Year ! Now we both live & dream the SAME DREAM ! Thanks for Sharing !
