MUSIC ~ MUSIC ~ MUSIC ๐Ÿงก ANGELA ๐Ÿค BRIAN ๐Ÿ’™ ESSENTIAL FOOD OF LIFE !

ANGELA & BRIAN

MUSIC ~ of all tastes ~ has been a great consolation to all our Members & Families & Friends during LOCKDOWN.  Some of us include a piece of Music to ameliorate our Posting. Those from GOLDFINCH are inspirational ! Older Members prefer the Classics - Jazz - Opera and the Great Ballad Singers from the 50s & 60s like Nat King Cole ~ as do ANGELA & I. We are fortunate to live in a era of Radio - TV - CDs (& Vinyl) - You Tube etc and now Alexa (You only have to ask ...... !}. A Survey has suggested that to lift COVID Depression we are choosing Songs which reminds us of *The Bright Side of Life !*  What SONGS are you SINGING ?  Love to ALL ~ ANGELA & BRIAN & SMOKEY ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐ŸคŽ

To reduce our Daily Stress & Strife

We need *The Bare Necessities of Life*

A Song that helps us Dance & Sing

Choose  *HAKUNA MATATA* from Lion King !

Another Song which the Kids all Sing

From Sound of Music ~ *My Favourite Things*

Just to remind us ~ of past solace & bliss

We all enjoy *Mem*ries are made of this !*

And as the Banner of Joy is unfurled

Put on Jim Reeves Song *Welcome to My World*

And if your Neighbour you want to bless

Blast out FULL VOLUME !  Ken Dodds *HAPPINESS* !

And if your HEART you want to gladen

Ask for *Friend like Me* a  score from Alladin

And if your DAY is especially GRIM

Just ask ALEXA to play you a HYMN

Its strange when things aint goin* our way

We get down on our knees an* all start to PRAY !

So put another NICKEL in ~ in the nickelodeon

Cos all I want is lovin* Y*all & MUSIC - MUSIC - MUSIC

Thanks for visit comments please Love Angela & Brian ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

indeed, where would we be without a rhythmic tune or two, to sway along - with the marching drumbeat of time,
in those cacophony scenes: of life's tempestuous Sea's

    A fine write B&A.
You know my rant about Doddy - of course he was happy, not paying his taxes, while othere were. Doh!
It's wicked really - he thanks the Lord for his happiness of getting away with swindling!
Meanwhile - you American? - y'all OK there, and Gato?!

Love all the musical references in this tribute to positive songs for this trying time....... am humming to "My Favourite Things" as I write -- well done dear duo.

I always listen to music of so many types.

You ask an impossible question - "What is you favourite piece of music?". My reply is always " The piece of music I am listening to at the moment and at the moment it is "Waldscenen" by Schumann.

ANGELA HERE - Thanks NEVILLE for an encouraging comment. We have both been too busy (earnin* a crust) to post today! Special tomorrow *MY SENSE OF TOUCH* enjoy! Brian & I can both vouch for the THERAPEUTICY of Music - In the past it has often stopped us going mad over issues (before we met) we couldnt control. BEETHOVEN played sotto voce is so so soothing - its my fave Classical Piano Music ~ especially *MOONLIGHT* - AMEN !

Love - Joy & Peace to YOU & YOURS

First of all...I really enjoyed this poem. I listen to some really weird stuff but if you want to here an amazing female singer then look up Elise legrow. She's an amazing Canadian singer who has covered some classics. Honestly...you'll be blown away.
