DO YOU NEED A HOLIDAY AFTER LOCKDOWN ? We sure do ~ so next week we*re stayin* with Posh Friends (Big *ouse wiv a Pool !) in Sunny Berkshire ! Day trips to Oxford & Bath. What do YOU HATE (or LOVE) most about Home Cooking ? What did you miss most about *NOT DINING OUT* during LOCKDOWN ? Did you use *Takeaways* or *Frozen Meals* from the SUPERMERCADO ? making THAI CURRIES from scratch is a black art & KFC impossible ! Angela & I like to experiment in the Kitchen and I attend Nouvelle Cuisine Classes at the College ! Cooking (on TV) looks easy-peasy til you try - especially ORIENTAL - You need more than a WOK ! GOOD MORNING ~ UNCLE STEVE ~ WE like Newbury for the Horse Racing - Angela loves Horses and he Papa has promised He will buy Angela a Pony if she has a Daughter. I dont know about visiting Fido cos like us he only exists in Cyber Space. We*re all zooming in Lockdown ! We like Warners Littlecotes near Basingstoke ~ have you ever been ? No Dogs (or Gatos) or TEENAGERS and Quality Entertainment and excellent Cuisine. Pleased to hear the Berkshire Climate is set fair !

Newbury is the other side of town to me. You may hear Fido bark from there - just over 20 miles away. I've only ever passed through Basingstoke, en route elsewhere, I think.

BRIAN HERE ~ Good Thursday Fay ~ Yes we all need a BREAK ! However a change of Plan. One of our Friends in Berkshire (in her 50's) has had to go in Hospital for a Few Days with a Chest infection (not COVID we hope ?) so we are going instead to stay with Sailing Friends in COWES ~ Isle of Wight ~ Hope its not too WINDY ! Thanks for your comment ! We were hoping to meet ORCHIDEES DOG ~ Fido !

HI UNCLE STEVE ~ UNFORTUNATELY NO ! We were travelling on Sunday but one of the Family we were going to stay with has been admitted to Hospital with chest pains & a sore throat. So we will have to postpone our visit to Berks *The best laid plans ................... !* Angela is working today ! Instead we are visiting COWES (IOW) to do some Sailing. Its a pity because we had looked forward to meeting FIDO and hearing YOU sing !

El Gato, as I call him ( a Smokey look-alike cat) turns up here, mainly for food. That's why he makes a lot of fuss of us half the time. lol.
