How many more?

Saxon Crow

How many more times will it take you to see?

Each of  you are blinded with rotting deceit

The lies they feed you poison your soul

And the space in your head is no longer your own

How many more voices will cry out in pain?

Each of you heads down deafened with shame

They stole all your empathy so long ago

And the space in your chest is empty and hollow

How many more lives are you willing to kill?

Each of you complicit by your own lack of  will

They murder your tribe in the name of freedom

While the beat of your heart is weak and guilt ridden

How many more times must it take you to see?

Because times running out if you want to be free

Gently they've nurtured your cold apathy

Until nothing matters except your own miseries

How many more times?

Not many more

Just one final push

And then who knows?

Strong write SC, I would like to think that I am going the right way in my life, into a world where all is well and where I can help others as best I can, it can happen where help is given at no cost but those in power cannot see that this is the way to go.
