Dove

 

 

I hear the silent whispers

Echoing through the night

The sound of laughter 

When the moon shines bright 

 

Though stillness mocks me

And the winds cease to blow 

There is the breeze of silence 

A hushed familiarity I know

 

A heavy heart listening here

As the stars glow ever bright

Imagining your voice speaking 

To me in the stillness of the night

 

A faint whisper eloquently echoes 

Telling me what I already know

That you're still a special part of me 

A treasure within my soul
