Privilege, Privilege, Privilege
That is the law of today
All in on the mammon some might say
Round & Round it goes until 1 day
The paycheck is too short for the bills you have to pay
Yet we have to have another toy for our own play
The latest new gadget to help in living life our own way!
We need that vacation to relieve the stress of our day to day
Wound up like a ten dollar watch waiting to see when it blows in a fray
Go into more & more debt without any relief that is what has led most all astray
Keep up with the ones next door so we don’t lose face that is the ticket, yea!
All this while most just struggle within a world NO 1 wants to see
Of what it is like to live in want, with only hope to set them free
Not enough food or water or shelter or security
In a world of lost responsibility
For those who don’t look like you, act like you, get like you, can you not agree?
Then it comes as life does with
A Storm
A Tragedy
A Stumble
A Misstep then the Fall
When the wisest, the best, the real life fittest of us all will look around to see
What in Life is meant to be
Going all in on Humanity
Instead of just what’s in it for me!

Good words AH, it has taken this pandemic to show that there are so many good people out there to help others and not requiring any reward.
