Write to be popular, that is not what I do!

Poetic Dan

I don't write to be popular, it's not what I do!

I write from my soul, for it to improve!

For what I believe in my world to be true

It doesn't really matter, its an inside move

What cream is better, can snot be removed...

We can roll around in forget me knots too!

Grumble on the fluff of bedded plots

Become enlightened then float off..

To be brought back on the elephant in the room

To find out it snapped unable to be broomed

The power of many but a fleeting thought of one

When and where do I begin or has it already begun

Theses are many questions, asked under many sun's

When the clouds of guilt and judgement, evaporate at once

Leaving me in a sea of compassion and poetry my boat

With a rhythm to endless travel, depths beyond others to explore

If you ever think you are only human!

I'd like to suggest you are so much more!

  • Comment from author about the poem: I do read all comments but never like doing a short response, by the time I thought about cutting down my thoughts it's too much to write... For thoses that's know it, a poetic mind is never quite and this is just a out let form a travelling soul! Nothing more or less than you, but together we are ment to make it worth living through! Much peace and respect! Keep being you...

    Good write Dan.

I write because I enjoy writing, I share it in the hope that others may like it. People have often asked me why do I not get my poems published, I respond by saying I do not write to make money I write for me and for others with no charge.
