seeing ..... her way

dusk arising

taken by the first line of her poem
his mind wandered to imagined pleasures
where he sat before camp fire singing
to a small guitar accompanyment
but hold....
now reading her 2nd stanza he reflected
it had drifted away as an exercise
of words upon paper and meaningless

casting away campfire thoughts
he addressed again her words

Taken anew upon
imaginations entwined.
His and hers
in a land of rhyme,
wings of passion over
meadows of motion
brushed with breeze
caressing heartfelt emotion.
To bathe in a river's depth so cool
yet warmed by her affection
caressed by the current
of nature's flow..
...enmeshed
in the loving embrace
of her soul.
.                Relaxed into a seduction of bliss.....

.....Thence I sat upon a cloud of contemplation,
.                     of such a beautiful mind, such artistry.....
.                                      ........In awe of my poetic friends

Wow - A first rate description of how words can take us on journeys of dreams and drop us into other dimensions where "the land of rhyme" can birth bliss to those who are "caressed by the current of nature's flow" - many thanks D.A. for such beautiful phrasings in "seeing - - her way"

Super write, words both read and written can take us on a journey into a place of wonder where we can lose ourselves in our dreams.

I gotta meet some of these lasses that poets write about on here. Or will they be too much for me?! lol.
