Man of the Moon

Markthetabor

Oh, what a legend he is.

Sparked to life-

Purely through destruction.

To tear apart the landscape,

They aimed to do.

Only if they knew-

That I have parked my hammock to view,

Such a creation.

This magnificent string-

Of holes in the ground,

That you may view as true.

Arms wide open,

As an act of good faith.

Trust,

And encouragement.

Will soon follow.

Let us look up,

Every day of the week.

Just to hope-

That the man on the moon will be there tomorrow.

GREETINGS MARK ~ Good Evening thanks for sharing a LUNA ODE ! We love Sistere MOON and She is unique in both Her Size (17% of the Earth) and Her proximity - 250,000 miles - to Our Planet Earth. Apart from causing the Tides & being a Night Light (very important in the Pre-electric Days ! The Moonn has many other assets. Because of her sync rotation with with Planet Earth we onky ever see one Face - which we have dubbed *The Man in the Moon* her other Face may be Feminine - Who knows ? Even if TRUMP wins a second Term I can assure every time the Moon rises we shall see the FACE ~ AMEN

Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Love Angela - Brian & Smokey Cat !!!
