I havent seen you in a while
My friend, my mentor
the one that makes me smile
Its been so long
That i forgot how it feels
To walk in your presence and remember our deal
But then i recall
That you have always been here
It was me that turned from you
In my pain and my fear
Not once have you faltered
Unlike me who has
But you forgive everything
As simple as that
You see i know now
What you are to me
You lead by example
To reclaim our humanity
Love freely and never be afraid
Put our trust in our father
Each and every day
Be good and kind
Act compassionately to others
Because everyone is frightened
Even those who aren't like us
So thank you for never
Letting me down
Ill try and follow you
as best as i can
And sometimes I'll waiver
And will want to let go
So please hold me closely
And don't let me fall

A super special poem.
Lucky are those who have that special someone who’ll always be there for them. That is what I call an unconditional love/friendship relationship. It is comforting to know you can always depend on that special someone who will never let you fall.
