Mile High
Long before
the wax began
to soften even
And the moult
commenced
his ivory plumage shed
He dreamed of flying
with her
a mile above their bed

Icarus would surely agree that the flight with a lover feels mile high wherever it is. - - bootiful thought though above their bed.............. x.
Why do I get the feeling you can read my mind ..... seriously .. a seriously big thank you is winging its way Sou Westerly ..

Yes, I got the wrong plane once. I got on the Mile High trip - and swooned! lol. I only wanted to go to the Co-op, so why did I go by plane?
Makes one wonder .... maybe ..................................................................................

You knows I wasn't going to the Co-op really. I'm a dark horse! These lassies will be too much for me though! lol.
On the occasions when i flew to close to the sun which lit a lovers bed I too felt the melt of wax and a tumble from high.
She was disallusioned when i recounted this for she was of the opinion the sun shone from her arse.
Its all about control DA ... Pink Floyd got it write when they wrote 'Set the controls for the heart of the sun' .. that or tell her ya Cliff Richards cousin or summat ... or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely ... I'm gonna say cheers regardless 🙂
May those dreams be forever with him.

I’d like to join the mile high club,
But I’ll settle for the bunk bed on top!
May your wings fly high
But never reach the sun
Or you’ll have to sigh
When you fall down on your bum
...................... Hey, I would be more than happy with that RB .. where do ya propose we take off from
