It was another one of those times
Where my loved one was so greatly missed.
Sitting there eating my dinner
Her soul all around me,
The picture of her ever smiling face
Looking at me with love,
So much love.
That love was always there between us,
It never ever failed during our years together
And now she has departed this life
It is still there between us,
As she is always with me.
But is always so sad that the love of my life
Is not sitting across the table,
As I eat my dinner on my own.

A poignant write Gold.
Now why didn't I sing in 1066? It would have scared off the enemy. They would not have been able to bear the torment. lol. But no, I turned up and mucked it all up! heehee.
Thanks Orchi.
sweet words - as always, a seemingly depthless pool of inspiration you have been gifted for your writes, in that love you cherish: with such pride!
Thank you LB, that love I have for her will never die.

Oh Andy she's there. Jay is here too but sometimes you just want to hold a hand that isn't ....... time goes by very quickly and we'll see them again..
So understanding Lorna, one day the four of us will meet.
