LIVERPOOL ~ Eternally *A City of Culture* ! World Famous for its Football (Liverpool Top of the Premier last Season & now EVERTON (My Team) in that spot this Season ! Its Art & Architecture (the Photo shows the Famous Waterfront with the Liver Building and Music from the BEATLES to Beethoven (The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra). It has to be seen - heard - touched & tasted (Scouse) to be believed ! I took Angela a couple of Years ago and She could not believe just how beautiful & vibrant it was with its Two Cathedrals ~ Three Amazing Parks & Four Beatles ! How very CRUEL that it is the ONLY UK CITY in LEVEL 3 ~ Total Lockdown ~ due to the Second wave of COVID 19 ! Despite the Death of over 3,000 in the Blitzkreig ~ Hitler couldn*t silence the CITY but COVID 19 HAS. It is now a Playground for hundreds of MOGGIES (Cats) BUT *We shall overcome SOMEDAY* AMEN !

I had to go to Liverpool once to collect some equipment for my work, all I remember is houses with boarded up windows - it was obviously that day.

BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks for your comment Uncle Andy ! People see what they want to see and every Provincial City in the UK has its neglected & decaying facets. Im a SCOUCER & I see MY CITY through Technicolour Binocs ! It did receive a battering in WW2 but it was rebuilt and no one can deny its Impressive Architecture ~ Awesome Music Heritage in all Genres ~ Its Maritime History & its Majestic Sporting Record etc etc. It is one of the most visited Provincial Cities (By Tourists) in the UK I I will support Everton & Glorify My City until the Day I am buried in Anfield Cemetary in 2083 !

When I was a young medical student, I spent several placements at what was then the Moss Side Special Hospital .. I had lodgings in Kirby Liverpool which was curiously both a friendly place filled with scousers and also one of the roughest places ever .. indeed, it was often said that if someone had more than one eye, then they were most probably a sissy ..

Thanks for your Comments Neville ! I know Kirby well it was Liverpool Overspill and some of the the Scoucers didnt know what a Bath was ! So because they had no cellars they used them to store COAL in ! The Scouse Friendship & Humour is legendary ! You are treated like *One of the Family* and everyone is an Embronic Ken Dodd. One Year when the Grand National was cancelled & run on a Sunday the people of Aintree just opened their homes to complete Strangers so they could stay the Night *Mi Casa es Tu Casa !* The beauty of being born in Liverpool was you knew your PLACE ! You were either Catholic or Protestant ~ Rich or Poor ~ Black or White or Liverpool or Everton so from the Day you were Born ~ The Family you were born into decreed your IDENTITY for LIFE. So Im Protestant ~ (Upper) Working Class ~ White & a Life-long (37 years) Supporter of Everton FC - who are currently TOP of the Premier Division ! Played 4 won 4 = 12 Points ! Liverpool FC is Fifth. The two Grounds are only a couple of miles apart !

GOOD AFTERNOON FRIEND ~ *YOU*LL NEVER WALK ALONE* ! That is the ANTHEM from CAROUSEL which LIVERPOOL FC have adopted as their theme song. There is no experience like it with a Full House singing it especially when Liverpool are winning by three or four lucky GOALS ! Because all Scoucers have some Irish or Welsh Blood we can all sing in tune & four part harmony ! We dont sound like an *Out of tune Choir* of ORCHIDEES !
