No one can meet ~ with the ones that they Love
We both have FAITH there*s an end to this PAIN
COVID has gripped *Like a Hand in our Glove* !
No one can meet ~ with the ones that they Love
Since I married BRIAN ~ HAPPY inside our BUBBLE
COVID has gripped ~ like a hand in a Glove
And SMOKEY our CAT ~ dont cause us no TROUBLE !

We have both kept our JOBS ~ with People we WORK
And SMOKEY our CAT ~ dont cause us no TROUBLE
WE both earn a CRUST but its better than PERK !
We have both kept our JOBS ~ with People we WORK
We are content with the Money we GET
We both earn a crust but its better than PERK
We have something to SHARE ~ we dont Gamble or Bet !

We both love our Fam*lies and Church Fam*ly too

It makes us HAPPY in ALL that we DO !

We do appreciate that we can be HAPPY despite COVID 19 because we have each other and both our Jobs are secure. This enables us to pay our Mortgage and have an excess to help others. All our Parents live close and are in good health. In our Church & Community we have rotas to visit lonely Seniors and ensure they have Medical Supplies and sufficient basic foodstuffs. We cant visit their Homes but can share a cup of tea or coffee in the Garden when the weather is dry. The Winter will be hard for Many but we will ensure all Shut in Seniors get a Taste of Christmas. The local Salvation Army normally provide a Christmas Lunch for the Homeless & Lonely but that may not be possible this Year ~ We could provide it MOBILE ? In normal times many Churches provide sleeping accommodation for *Rough Sleepers* during extreme Weather. Despite everything we all have many Daily Blessings which should enable us to keep smiling in adversity !

Some of us 'seniors' like myself feel very lucky in these vulnerable times and we too help others that need helping.

GOOD SUNDAY UNCLE ANDY ~ What you say is very true ! In some communities it is the Seniors (65+) who tend to be involved in Charitable & Altruistic Activities ! Youngsters (like Angela & I) are to involved with Work & Family ! However because some Seniors no long *drive* they need to be picked up for Church etc. However in our experience the Role of *Helper & Helped* interchangeable ! Often when BRIAN & I return Home from Work we find a *Cake or a Casserole* on the step ~ often anonymous ! I guess the donors know we are *Key Workers\" in he NHS & Vocational Education. It is Caring & Sharing that makes the World a better place & bearable in a Pandemic which affects everyone ! AMEN !

Me and the missus kept one job and lost one, but feel beyond blessed to have what we have... a little house and a back yard and a front porch with a swing. So many have an apartment full of family, with nary a balcony or stoop, and our city is packed with rough sleepers because the weather is fair in winter and the city is relatively accepting. Thank you silly pair for sharing your fortune and joy as best you can. I try to give something every day. It's the best part of having, the giving.
