Hello to the crying woman in the mirror.
I know we’ve been depressed and overwhelmed with fear.
We need to take care of ourself because they need us here.
We made it another day
Let’s try our best to get out of this bed.
Brush our teeth and make sure we’re fed.
Dry our eyes and lift up our head.
We made it another day.
I know right now we wish we were gone and everything feels like it’s gone all wrong.
I’m sorry that we’ve been suffering for so long.
We made it another day.
Our life matters and we deserve to feel loved.
Stop the tears, stop the blood.
Sometimes we need to slow down and see what we’re capable of.
We’re going to be okay.

In our wandering through life there are many paths before us. Sometimes instinct takes us into a thickness of entangled jungle of solitude through which we struggle yet our inner light motivates self preservation even though it may grow dim...... for part of our humanity is the wish, the desire, the justification.... of something better.
Though the night be dark, a dawning will follow.
Keep on keeping on.
Those days could be so long and so wrong and so hard to move on. Cry is fine, anger is OK, let it out and hold on. Yes, you will be OK, it just takes a lot of courage and strength. Well penned.
In slowing down you can look around you and realise that it is a good day and once you realise that it is a good day you can then be aware that there will be other good days ahead of you.
