Seriously good this concise diagnosis of delusion my friend.............the two final words - "needy and broken" brought sad heartache that this state is so familiar today.
.................... yes it is a sad reality dear Fay and I fear there is no easy answer or solution to the phenomenon of pseudo delusion ...
true delusional beliefs whether primary, secondary systematised or unsystematised are often much easier to fathom, respond to and indeed treat ... thank you for your approving perusal my friend..........................

Many out there are still in need of a repair kit in their later years. I was once deluded enough to consider my heart a repair shop.
Disallusioned, i threw away my tools.
