Nostalgia.

Fay Slimm.

Nostalgia.

Summer strides nostalgia's walkway
................................as dark cloaks low-tide's old delight
when lovers loitered just to survey
........................................secret hide-aways out of sight.

Intended pleasures sought no daylight.

Heady times those harbourside nights.

  • dusk arising

Lennon and McCartney words come to mind - there are places i'll remember, all my life though some have changed, some forever, not for better. some are gone and some remain... all these places had their moments -

And so it is. Places have memories. Some places are haunted with memories. Some places best avoided.

Many places are revisited in my poetry as i sense they are in yours.
