A note to self.......
In some of the comments I make on poems
Saying
"I wish I would shut up sometimes"
But it can't be done
I go on and on... and on
I have shut up shutting up
I've given up shutting up as a bad job!
You know such folk?
They always says 20 words when 5 will do
Or they may show off
By using long or cryptic words
So that we dunno what they're on about
And - do THEY know what they're on about?!
It's a bore, a nuisance
You know - They who start every sentence
With 'And'. Erm, And, another thing....
See - they've got me doing it now!
Psst - I already did it in the line above:
"And - do THEY know what they're on about?!"
Also - adding hyfaluting words, quite naff
Such as 'Basically'; 'This moment in time'
[Insert your own example here]
But don't get me started on the utter naffness
The utter impossibility
(That's quite a long word, says Fido)
Of they who say "I give 110%"
Well, I'm not practising what I preach
In one of my mottos 'Talk sense, man!'
I mean - I have a talking dog
It's my excuse to talk rubbish
Aww - why they say? -
"No change there then 99% of the time!"
Heehee
Oh well, must not waste the day
I wish people would talk English
By the time I found out what Carpe Diem meant
Most of the day had gone
There was none left to seize!
Well, I thought it was French
Spent hours in a French-English dictionary!
Doh! Such is life.
LOL.
PS. Oh, don't bother me just now

Thanks LB lol. I'm only teasing. Yes, we can use long words if we wish. 'It's educational on here; not any old rubbish', as they say! It's jargon that's the real pest.
