april

dusk arising

.     no glitter
.     no gold....
.     but treasure
.     untold

no rainbow led us here
our cloudburst coffee shop doorway
from the rain
rich in aromatics I chanced a romantic
invitation
.            suggesting
.                    .....coffee for two

.                                 let it rain
.                                 let it pour
.                            i could sip with you
.                                 evermore
.                          my dreams in your eyes

hello.... and
.    ......goodbye and
hello...    again...
.       and....

.                     yes I'll remember april's beginning for
.                                                             ... you

Wow! I Love this Poem dusk arising. I think I will start searching for a girl named April, now. Or maybe just those born in the month of April. Or Both. Don

Thank you Don. I just imagined a chance encounter in a shop doorway sheltering from an april shower..... the rest is toothpaste as they say.

Beautiful loving words d a, and the music puts the highlights on the words.

Thank you Mr Goldfinch sir. I tried something different in expression today.

Debussy is my favourite classical composer and there are so many varied interpretations of his works.
