Autumns Wonder.

Goldfinch60

The last bloom of summer had left

As autumns glory came into my sight,

The beauty of its artwork

So thrilling in my life.

A time of change

As I walk in Nature’s Wonder,

The yellows, gold and reds around me

Showing me the wonder of life

In this natural world,

A world that resonate with me,

Within my body,

Within my heart,

As its wonder surrounds me.

A fine write and pic Gold. Yes, brightening up a sub-power station near us - brilliant red and golden leaves overhanging from a neighbour's garden.
'Tis where I go to sing all alone. I got a key for special permission to get in - to sing there alone of course! lol.

Nice one and oh how i miss it... staying locked away for self preservation.
Springtime is my favourite i admit but autumn has it golden beauty and sorrow as the natural world prepares for winters hardship.

All the more poignant to observe the final beauties of 2020 as we head into who knows what this year.

Thank you d a, it must be very hard for you, I do consider myself fortunate in being able to walk with Nature and my camera.

As you say who knows what we are going into this year. (and next?)

      Hi Andy,

A beautiful write with Autumn so magnificently captured.

They say New England in the US is one of the best places to experience Autumn or the fall as they say in the US.

Keep writing ✍ and safe during these challenging times.

        Thank you FB, most kind.
Yes I have heard that New England is a wonderful place to see in Autumn, I doubt if I will see it though as the last time I was on a 'plane was back in the 1960's!

        good read,
I'm also an Autumn guy, though admittedly more 'Fall' and early Winter than late Summer, it's that inevitably melancholic mood they help cultivate
