Happy Anniversary Joyce.

Goldfinch60

Our anniversary had arrived

And there I was on my own.

I needed somewhere to go,

So down to My River I went.

Walking along in harmony

Thinking of our wonderful life

That we had had for so many years,

Until that day when she passed on.

But as I was walking she arrived,

Arrived by my side.

And together we walked along Our River

Walked in harmony,

Walked in joy,

Walked in unfounded love,

That love was with us for so many years..

And as I walked with Her Spirit

That love was still growing stronger

I looked back at Our River

Saw her there as I said

Happy Anniversary Joyce.

    A poignant write Gold.
A bit embarrassing with Ch...card list, if we may not see people (live too far away, etc) and they have passed on, but we still keep churning out cards for them.
Well, if there is no way of knowing - they may have lived alone, or partner not informed us of their passing.

Thanks Orchi. Yes it could happen, I have probably done it myself in the past but obviously unknowingly so.

I had something, not quite so embarrassing. I delivered some cards by hand one year. One place said 'Oh, they moved 5 years ago!'

Such a moving piece today. Your heart is surrounded in the strength of the unending bond you both created.
The strength of character which you display open hearted to us all has genuinely gathered my respect for you as a man. Would that we all were so gifted.

beautiful! not purely for its raw sentimental elements but moreover for its hopeful tone of acceptance and also expectance, that this flesh and blood existence is not the final chapter of your love,
              a truly inspiring write Andy!
'But as I was walking she arrived,
              Arrived by my side.
And together we walked along Our River
              Walked in harmony,'

Most kind LB, it is certainly not the last chapter of our love, there are many more to follow.

                Andy
