It's not the end of the world, I've heard many times in my days!
While this many be the thought from others, each moment we don't all perceive the same
As within those seconds many minutes go by, lost in translation they start to drown the mind!
Until you come back to a reality where hope is not gone, yet the connection to others is a delicate tone
No food for thought just an empty shell, a world that's crumbling behind the smile of all is well!
Most of the time you'll never tell, until we leave this existence under a spell!
Playing our part upon this stage, always looking for better days.
Life will always continue, it's just up to us in which way!

"It's not the end of the world." If it were would we be standing around talking about it, People say these things not for another's sake, but for their own.
As for the "Edge," that's why we're here, poets live on the edge. It's a scary place, so we create phrases of hope, "Life will go on, Hang in there, etc."
A thought provoking poem. Thank you. - Phil A.
Fabulous reply and definitely in tune with my thoughts!
Always appreciated
Have a wonderful day
That edge is always there in life but we should always leave it behind us as in the maps of old at the edge of the earth was the warning "Here be dragons!"

Always shocked to see I never write the thoughts I feel at the time of reading your words, although you can tell it made the future become swell! Watched out for the dragons and stood on the hill!
