I walked across the meadow,
The white covered the green
As the grass crunched underfoot,
Each blade sugar-coated with frost.
The wonder of Nature
Filling my eyes and heart.

A good write Gold.
My poem goes: 'Each bit of ground covered in wet mud'. I knew I should have worn me wellies. Doh!
I had to turn back once. Some Riding Stables near a country lane. I would have sunk in a bog of manure.
Thanks Orchi.

I share your joy of the beautiful world expressed so simply in your words today. Natures beauty needs no words of finery or embellishment when recounted to those who have felt that crunch of frosted grass and sunlights rays upon their face,
Thank you d a, yes that joy of walking over frost covered fields bring yet another joy in Nature's realm.

its that time of year again isn't it .. my word how did that manage to creep up on us all so suddenly ....
It always surprises us when that time flows by and Nature's glory changes with it.
