I shiver against the cold night

But you are here to keep me warm

Losing myself in your retreat

Love itself is taking form

 

Quietly yelling out your name

Taking months out of my years,

Pleasure I take in your embrace

Fighting back these happy tears

 

I take you until

all innocence is lost

I needed to need you

No matter the cost

 

Our sins are apparent

on the sheets in a heap 

'You must go now'

I mutter and weep..
