Memories

Rose~

Notice of absence from Rose~
Life

A new found family,

From a scattered pile of laundry

I found my past.

Smiling, Leading, I thought,

“Weren’t those days fun”

As my mind moves backwards

I recall the memories,

Little children

now grown up.

Trained and strong,

ready to fight

Life and its set-ups.

How I would love,

To go back in time

And welcome

Them back with open arms.

As for now,

Life has given me no choice

But to sacrifice,

For mankind

to unbind.
