Fay Slimm.

Solutions.

"Love's gift cannot be given, it just waits
to be accepted." (Anon.)

The suchness of love's fragrant devotion
lies in ways
its needed sweet potion is made.

Being tenderly constant wears well with
most lovers,
without which contentment can fade.

Distrust often sucks strength from worthy
intentions
for doubt renders efforts inactive.

Thru' constant negligence love will stale
if it counts
added costs to tolerance factor.

Yes the fragrance of love's togetherness
lies a lot
in how scented solutions progress.

Scented solutions become the essential oils of a good loving relationship.
However, it's essential also to keep all and any flies OUT of the ointment of love.
I felt myself being drawn into this one.

Ah I agree wholeheartedly D.A. - those flies bring their own taint to love's sweet ointment . Glad your felt drawn into the read of Solutions

True love's fragrance pulls true lovers together into a richer odour in their life.

A great poem from another who falls often into hopeless romanticism and mistimed affections I never quite express. You fit a lovely sense together here with nicely woven reflections and sentiments.
