Choice.

Goldfinch60

In our lives we have many choices,

These are so important for us,

As we have found that

Without freedom of choice

There is no creativity,

And these words

Would not be on this page.

    • ANGELA & BRIAN

Angela here - Good Sabbath Uncle ANDY - Thanks for brightening our Weekend by sharing Monty Pythons BSOL ! Last year at Funeral of a Friend of ours (76) who was always the *Life & Soul of the Party* His Family (at His request) played this as the curtains closed on the Coffin and we left the Crem to view the Flowers. It lifted all the gloom and it is one of the happiest Funeral Teas I have ever attended ! Everone thought it was a very fitting farewell for *Smiler Jim* as he was known !
Thanks for the Poem and a reminder that *Freedom of Choice* is a great Blessing and a hallmark of the Democray in which we live !

Blessings & Joy & Peace to You & Yours
      Love Angela - Brian - Smokey 💛💛💛

        Thanks Angela.
I had Always Look on the Bright Side of Life as the exit song from Joyce's funeral service.

        Good write Gold.
The song grates with me though. Not because of my singing (!) but some of the words in it.

          Thanks Orchi.

That song is special to me as I had it played at Joyce's funeral.

I see Gold. It's the middle bit I don't like - 'bright side of death' etc.

But i get blank looks when i venture out, which is quite rare these pandemic days. Is it because I'm wearing a mask or because they are?

It's really great being able to be free enough to exercise free choice once one has cast aside the indoctrination of things like christianity which seeks to control peoples minds. We see the OCD (the opposite of freedom of choice) christianity can create regularly displayed here on MPS.

            • Goldfinch60

Yes free choice is there for all of us and those controlling indoctrinations such as christianity just cannot see it.

so true, even the act of being able to read is sadly - a choice taken for granted by so many,
              insightful words my friend
